#WeeklyWonders – Keeping It Cosy 04/52 (2026)

by Cosy WithCoffee

Welcome to another #WeeklyWonders post, a newish snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of the World.

I’ve never been a fan of January as it seems to be the month that drags on forever, I swear it feels as if it’s currently the 56th of January or something absurd… It’s so cold, dark and dismal, especially since everyone took down their Christmas decorations and the winter suddenly became bleak. Though I’m always eager to clear up the Christmas decks and to get the house neat and tidy for the new year, I’m always rather saddened by the sudden lack of low, cosy lighting. Having recently redecorated our bedroom, my hubby and I decided to adda little fairy-light-magic to the room and I have to say the result it stunning! Even better, we have now linked all our pretty, sparkly lights up to various smart plugs and I can now switch them on and off with ease. Christmas may have come and gone but we’re ‘keeping it cosy’ this winter.

That is lovely! I’m very traditional with the Christmas decorations – they go up in mid-December and come down on the 5th January. I did really miss them for the first few days.

I must admit I’m an LED girl and love twinkly lights all year round.
