Welcome to another week of #WeeklyWonders, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
Whilst the kids were able to switch off their alarms and enjoy a relaxing week off from school and college, I’ve spent the past week busy working. It’s been quite a relief to have a break from helping with homeworks, packing PE bags, and rushing around on the early school-run race. I’ve enjoyed peaceful commutes listening to eighties playlists and chilled family evenings without the hustle and bustle of the regular routine.

This time last year, my husband and I were soaking up the sights of Amsterdam whilst celebrating twenty years together. I would have loved to have spent the half term travelling but with with a new puppy and work commitments, it wasn’t to be. Still, life’s pretty rosy at present and it won’t be too long before we can put together some travel plans for the summer.
Thanks for reading my #WeeklyWonders post. I look forward to catching up and commenting on your #WeeklyWonders snaps.

It sounds like you’ve had a good week! I’ve almost forgotten about the existence of half term, as my youngest child is in her second year at university.
I miss half term, I was once part of the school holidays club but sadly that’s no longer.
