Welcome to another #WeeklyWonders post, part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
We are now on the countdown to the summer holidays and as such it seems that life has been extra busy with an abundance of events, appointments, and various activities. Whilst the kids are excited to kick back from their regular routine, I’m personally rather looking forward to dusting off the passports and jetting away for a well-deserved break.
I’d much rather be lazing on a sun-lounger by a swimming pool in the Spanish sun than burning in the British heatwave sans air-con… Still, these hot summer days make for some stunning sunsets.

That really is a beautiful sunset! Enjoy your holiday! As our children are grown up, we had an early holiday this year. I’ll be jealous when everyone else goes on holiday!
Same here. We are now having the extreme heat here in Ohio. high 90’s that feel like 104 today and the humidity is terrible. I am lucky that I now have AC. For years, we didn’t and I read that our bodies adjust and get use to it as I can believe that because now without the AC on it seems intolerable, but years ago just a fan and I was good to go. However, I was much, much younger and could probably do better with the heat. Stay cool over there. Thanks for the link up.
