Welcome to another week of #WeeklyWonders, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
It’s been a whirlwind of a week in terms of celebrations as I turned forty-something on Thursday. Shortly after, my darling daughter became a teenager and we’ve spent the past few days surrounded by cards, cake, presents, and party poppers!
Now all the birthdays are done and dusted, I need to get my head ‘back in the game’ and figure out September in terms of school runs, transport, lockers, and all kinds of things. It’s going to be chaos but I’ll figure it….

Happy birthday to you both! Good luck with all the school organisation. I miss lots of things about my kids being younger (they’re all in their 20s now), but school admin isn’t one of them!
Happy birthday! The end of August early September is full of birthdays and anniversaries for us – it all seems to get all mushed together. Have a great week and thankyou again for the linkup.
We had an 18th and that seemed to be a week of organisiation on my part and now I’m straight into organising Father’s Day….What a hectic time life can be….but what a joy!
Happy Birthday to you both. Oh to be beginning the teenage years again. I remember when my kids were excited to be in the double digits when they turned 10. Oh how young we are at those ages. Now, they’re decades of the number 10. Have a happy rest of the week.
