Welcome to another week of #WeeklyWonders, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
One week following my husbands ‘wonderful walk’ from Coniston to Barrow, I felt it a rather fitting time to share this stunning snap of Coniston Water (Yep, ‘Water’ because believe it or not, the Lake District only has one lake and that isn’t Coniston – Google it if you don’t believe me…). This week marks a rather historical moment as the famous Bluebird ‘planed’ for the first time in almost sixty years since Donald Campbell lost his life trying to break the records back in 1967.

Whilst I’d love to say that I was stood in the crowds watching this memorable moment, unfortunately I was busy working. However, with Coniston practically on our doorstep I’m sure we will get the chance to see Bluebird in action at some point.
Thanks for reading my #WeeklyWonders post. I look forward to catching up and commenting on your #WeeklyWonders snaps.
