Welcome to another week of #WeeklyWonders, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
I don’t feel old enough to be saying this but earlier this week my sweet, clever, and rather amazing son turned seventeen years old. How on earth is my first born old enough to drive already?! Where has the time got to?!
As always, my son celebrated in style. He’s been spoilt rotten with cake, candles, cards, presents galore, a trip to the local steak house with family, and a day out at the Trafford Centre shopping then playing golf. It’s certainly been an eventful week – I’m still trying to fathom that my first born is now insured on my beloved Mini! The L plates are officially on and it’s time for me to start looking for a replacement motor so that I can hand my keys over once he passes his test.

Thanks for reading my #WeeklyWonders post. I look forward to catching up and commenting on your #WeeklyWonders snaps.

C’est étrange les enfants grandissent on ne s’en rend pas compte et un jour les voilà adultes et on a l’impression qu’il y a peu on les berçait encore
Ah! I clearly remember this with my son – and wondering where the time had gone. He is now about to turn 47! Where indeed! Life goes way too quick, though it doesn’t always feel so. Have a wonderful week, and thankyou again for the linkup.
Happy birthday to your son. The cake looks yummy!
Congratulations on your son’s 17th birthday. What a proud occasion. Thanks for sharing your blog link party. Your blog is beautiful.
Happy Birthday to your first born baby. Does seem they are babies, and you turn around and they’re on their way to being so grown up.
