Welcome to another week of #WeeklyWonders, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating the wonders of life.
Though this photo was taken a few weeks back now, I felt it apt to share this week as life really has felt very much like a merry-go-round. This past week has been chaotic to say the least as I’ve juggled a full time job, a very poorly child, various appointments, and life in general. To top it all off , this weekend is also Fathers Day which is just another reminder of the things in life that I’m sadly missing out on. It’s been six years since my old man took his pint and pulled up a pew at the ‘bar in the sky’ but it doesn’t get any easier.
Still, the kids have their presents at the ready and I’m sure come the morning Paul will have a smile on his chops as he’s spoilt rotten. I’ll celebrate the little wins in life as that’s what it’s all about right?

Life can certainly be a carousel and it sounds like you have a lots on your plate at the moment. I hope your child is feeling a lot better. I lost my Dad 12 years ago now, and I still miss him and think about him. He passed the day before Father’s Day (in our country Father’s Day is in September) so it is a double whammy every year. I hope you can take some time for yourself. btw the first time I went on a merry-go-round was when I was quite small, and I cried so much, the man slowed it down for me! Interesting the things you remember.
