Welcome to the second edition of #TheLittleThings, a monthly blog-linky series focusing on the positive points in life. Though February has been a somewhat shorter month, we’ve certainly packed plenty into the past twenty-eight days.
Read
Having binge-watched Heated Rivalry, I decided to switch from the box to the books and have read both ‘Game Changer‘ and ‘Heated Rivalry‘ throughout the month. I have also made a start on reading Rachel Reid’s third book in this series, ‘Tough Guy’. Whilst I love reading romance and am all for spicy books, these are completely different to my usual reads but I’m very much enjoying reading about when hockey gets heated…

Watched
Alongside my daily dose of Eastenders and Home & Away, I’ve also enjoyed watching BBC’s bonkers but beautiful series ‘Small Prophets‘ alongside Channel 4’s cosy comfort shows ‘Will & Ralf Should Know Better‘, and ‘Gogglebox’. This month, I also introduced my darling daughter to the rom-com genre as we’ve watched Bridget Jones Diary, Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason, and Bridget Jones Baby. I’m steering clear of ‘Mad About The Boy’ until she’s a little older.

Heard
My all-time favourite artist, Tori Amos released her brand new single this month, ‘Stronger Together’. Whilst it’s far from the realms of her Cornflake Girl era, it’s still a beautiful track nonetheless.

Made
Earlier this month I received a cute LED twig tree which I decorated with sparkly hearts to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This has become quite the centrepiece in my living room, and I’ve got ornmental easter decor ready to hang over the next few weeks.

Wore
Having had my hair cut, curled, and styled at the salon, I then took myself to the nail bar for a brand new set of pretty pink talons to complete the look. It’s not often that I have a pamper and so it felt rather indulgent, though very much worth it!

My Top Three Moments From The Month Gone By
1. After waiting for what felt like forever, our pretty little pup finally had her second set of vaccinations and is finally able to enjoy a walk on the lead outside of the house. It’s been so lovely to see her getting out and about – I’m only hoping it helps to seal the deal in terms of toilet training.
2. My husband and I celebrated twenty-one years together. It wasn’t very elaborate like our twentieth anniversary when we travelled to Amsterdam. Still, we enjoyed a takeaway and the television cuddled on the couch with the kids and the dogs – what more could you ask for?!
3. Being a gamer-girly, I was super excited this month as Disney Dreamlight Valley released their latest ‘Puppy Love’ update, and I’ve now acquired both Lady and the Tramp in my game. I know it sounds daft, but it really is the ‘little things’ that make all the difference.

Thanks for reading my #TheLittleThings post. I look forward to catching up and reading through your #TheLittleThings posts

Happy Anniversary and a pamper is always a wonderful thing for women. The nails look awesome. Makes me think I need some nail makeover. Enjoyed reading your blog.
Thanks
